- Masoor dhal – 1 cup
- Several green chillis
- Tumeric powder – 1 table spoon
- Chilli powder – 1 table spoon
- 1 cup of coconut milk or fresh milk- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coconut_milk
- Onion – 1 sliced onion
- Salt – to taste
- Several curry leaves
- Pandan leaf – 1 – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandanus_amaryllifolius
Keep Dhal in the water for about 15 minutes to become it tender. Then wash dhal for 2-3 times. Subsequently get a pan and add coconut milk under medium flame. Now add dhal to the pan and keep for about 10-15 minutes. Stir well during that time.
After that add onions, curry leaves, green chillis and pandan leaf. Keep again for several minutes and stir it. Then add tumeric powder and chilli powder to it. After keeping few minutes add salt and stir well. It’s ready for your meal!!!
